Community Through Music
Music should feel fun, not intimidating. I focus on building a strong foundation rooted in the Suzuki Method and teach skills that carry over into every aspect of your cello playing. I have made lifelong friends through music and hope to inspire not only a love of cello but also a lasting appreciation for the arts and the discipline that comes with them. No matter where you are in your cello journey, we will set clear goals and make every step calm, focused, and encouraging.
Practice
Students are expected to practice consistently to ensure lessons are meaningful and progress-focused. A minimum commitment of practicing at least four days per week is required to maintain a place in the studio. I will help guide and structure practice, and we will regularly discuss effective practice strategies. While this can be challenging for some students at first, it builds discipline that supports success in every area of a young musician’s life. Most importantly, it helps students feel successful and motivated to continue their musical journey, knowing they are supported.
